The Nogitsune is a complicated one. At first glance someone might see pure and utter apathy, if not entire disgust. That the forever-dying creature has no tongue for the ways of mortal beings, but what you see may just be a reflection of yourself. The apathy of the being is merely his laid-back nature, for he sees the world in a way that many others' eyes may not. To him, death is a prolonged struggle, and an inevitability for others. Where he walks, she is soon to follow, and thus is his fate. This means his time is largely spent in the lap of luxury. Where others may see his indulgence in vices the pinnacle of sin, the true sin is not enjoying the life that he has. For with every day, his sickness grows, and dies down once more in an eternal cycle.
The truest sin of all is to let life be nothing but pain, when there is so much to enjoy. -
